KTLK has a technology hour in the morning during its Business for
Breakfast program. That's the one listened to by people high enough
in the food chain to actually do something.

NPR has guest essays which can be op ed pieces. Looks like essays
run 3 minutes. I think I can borrow a sound studio if something gets
put together. We should feed it locally to KCFR and KRCC.

Senate version is in Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation

It would be nice to know where McCain is on this, since he is ranking
Republican on the Committee.

Assuming that the House version gets into the similar committee,
Dianna DeGette is the most important contact. On the bright side,
the appropriate house subcommittee is chaired by Chris Cox (R-CA) who
is one of the co-chairs last I checked of the Internet Caucus, and
usually knows what he is doing.

"Symantec issues an apology to Microsoft after the security software
maker's AntiVirus Research Center issues an alert for a "widespread
and lethal virus known to cause system crashes and data loss" that
turns out to be the Windows 2000 operating system. Symantec CEO John
Thompson calls it a 'regrettable but understandable' mistake."
