> Yesterday I installed Red Hat 8.0 on one of my partitions. I have Win2k on its own drive and have another drive that I installed Red Hat on. Before this I had Mandrake on the partition and everything was fine.

I am running Red Hat 8 in a Dual Boot with Win2k after using Mandrake
9.0. I find it is more stable on my laptop. The Federal Government likes
the patches to be uptodate. I find nessus and my scanners work better
with Red Hat than Mandrake. Your mileage will vary.
