[CLUE-Tech] Linux Management article: good, bad, or ugly?

What do you all think of this article?:

META Group projects that 40%-45% of new Intel-based servers shipped by
2006/07 will be Linux-based. Linux will be a major factor in enterprise
data centers, which will be driven by economics. Although the operating
system itself may be less expensive than alternatives, operational
support is not necessarily cheaper. Linux requires the same level of
support as any other production-level platform, thus requiring
organizations to invest in staff skills, management processes, and
management tools. As companies target Linux for their Web and Web
application server platforms, much is being learned about what is
necessary to support Linux. While it is not dramatically different from
other platforms, there are nuances to supporting Linux, such as version
control, customized kernels, and packaging differences. Companies
considering Linux must understand the operational support issues unique
to it and prepare in advance, or risk a failed effort.
