I can ssh to my box at home from a friend's house, but from work:
$ scp -v -l powerpull somefile.txt abigail.powerpull.net:/tmp
Connecting to abigail.powerpull.net...
OpenSSH_3.6.1p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090702f
debug1: Rhosts Authentication disabled, originating port will not be
trusted.
debug1: Connecting to abigail.powerpull.net [63.231.91.153] port 22.
debug1: Connection established.
debug1: identity file /cygdrive/c/.ssh/id_rsa type -1
debug1: identity file /cygdrive/c/.ssh/id_dsa type -1
ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host
debug1: Calling cleanup 0x41b2a0(0x0)
Connection closed
The above output is from Cygwin. I do not have id_rsa or id_dsa in the .ssh
directory.
I've also tried Putty without success.
According to /var/log/messages no sshd connections have been refused. sshd
is definitely running.
