not quite. There is a 2.4.20-20.8 kernel.

The new 1.2.8 iptables was released for the 2.4.20-20.8 kernel, so I suspect
thats the problem. ;( 

Can you install and reboot into the 2.4.20-20.8 kernel and see if 
that fixes it?
