So is that a no?

If it's in routed mode and you are running public and private subnets over
eth0 and a vipX, you will need to set the wan side IP for it to NAT and
route at the same time.  It doesn't work when the WAN side IP is dynamically
assigned, even if static.  (C675 worked by default BTW, but later CBOS
version may have affected this also).  The exact syntax may vary slightly by
CBOS version.

I'm not sure whether this also applies to bridged mode of operations for the
C678, as we don't do this.  Personally, I'd dump the Linksys for a number of
reasons.  The C678 will support four subnets quite well.
