[CLUE-Tech] Very Slow X Start w/ Nvidia Binary

I had something very similar happen with my old 3dfx card and mobo 
combo.  The problem ended up being a specific combo of my AMI BIOS and 
the card.  Flashing my BIOS to a newer version fixed it.  I have no idea 
if that will fix your problem, but it's something to check.
