[CLUE-Tech] Has anyone been using screen?

Ever since the last CLUE-North meeting, where Sean R. talked about screen,
I've found myself using it - a lot.
I really found it to be useful, and for more than just being able to take
control of remote screen sessions - for one thing, it can lock the screen
with Ctrl-A X. The only downer is that it uses Ctrl-A, which is what Emacs
uses to jump to the start of a line. Getting used to Esc-A is tricky.
Now if I could just find the holy grail that I've been looking for - being
able to "grab" remote GUI processes and redirect them over ssh to the local
server. It seems like there has to be something out there that provides it
since X is written to do things like this...
Anyway, does anyone have any screen tips or whiz-bang features they use?
