[CLUE-Tech] Cannot complete java installation

I downloaded and installed java 1.4.1 from the sun web site. Filename - 
j2re-1_4_1_01-linux-i586-rpm.bin... I downloaded and installed netscape 
7.01 from www.netscape.com... I printed the document from 
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/install-linux.html and I am following the 
instructions. My problem is in the Java Plug-in Installation Instrictions.

When I get to:
3. For Netscape 6.x browsers: Use the regxpcom tool provided by Netscape 
to register Java Plug-in 1.4.
Notes:
1. Before you run regxpcom, as described below, first shut down the browser.
2. setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH <Netscape 6>:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Inside the <syntax> I have tried every thing I can think of.

Example:
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH <Netscape 6>:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH <netscape>:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH </usr/local/netscape>:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

I get the same output from all, No such file or directory.

Could someone please help?
