[CLUE-Tech] Creating CD distros?

Hello all , Lynn has me penciled in to talk about our
momentum gaining open source project this coming
August at our group meeting and I look forward to
giving the talk.  But that's off subject sorry! I am
in the process of doing some value added things for
the arbitrator project, one thing we need to do is
make it easy to install, so we want to a custom CD
distro so people who use it automatically get it
correct without having to load all sorts of kernel
patches.This seems to be one barrier to adoption for
the project. Lots of people download it, but not that
many install it because it is a hassle to build
kernels with patches to get it working.

So my request is this, is anybody in this group fluent
in makeing CD distro's or at the very least
knowledgeable in the pieces needed? Interested in
helping with this aspect of the project?
