[CLUE-Tech] OOo styles

Hey all,

This is annoying me because I'm pretty sure I *should* be able to do
this, but haven't been able to figure out *how* exactly.

I'm using OOo 1.1 for a book project, and I'm having to use a converted
Word template in OOo -- the template works fine, but they have a lot of
different styles that need to be applied for headers, notes,
instructions for production, code, etc... I'm used to writing in Vim,
which means never having to touch the fershluggener mouse, and I hate
having to stop writing to fiddle with the mouse and apply a style and
then resume writing.

Does anyone know how I can apply hotkey combinations to various styles
so I can just hit Ctrl+1 (or something) for a level 1 heading, Ctrl+2
for a level 2 heading, and so on? I've looked quite a bit and I haven't
found it yet.

Any help, greatly appreciated. And Jeff, thanks for the link to
OOExtras. Nifty.
