[CLUE-Tech] RH9 install into VM3.1.1 on WinXP

Hello,

I'm not sure what the "root cause" of the problem is,
but I think the symptom "RH9 was not out yet when
VMWare 3.x was released" may be fatal.  VMWare is
very, very closely tied to kernel levels, and as such
is only guaranteed to work with specific kernels and
distributions.  I believe in your case it would be
worth it to pay the $99 to upgrade to 4.x, which I
have used reliably with RH9 for some time now.
