[CLUE-Tech] Tuesday night's presentation - gentoo

I've noticed on Windows laptops that sometimes the computer needs to be 
hooked up to the projector as it's booted to work.  I don't know what 
that means, but could it mean that the system needs to detect the device 
somehow?
