Heck even a Stage III would hurt! 

"Tolerance" is an understatement.  More like "plan to never get anything 
done with your computer for the next month" would be a more appropriate 
way to put it!  (GRIN)

(Now there's an interesting thought -- anyone have a spare machine to 
try it on?  Just HOW  long does it take to bring up a fully-working 
Gentoo from Stage I on a "56K" modem?  That's great Slashdot fodder, if 
you really want to get a webserver pounded on... there's your topic!)
