Good morning, everyone.

My company is moving forward on hiring another Systems person.

So far, this person will be responsible for backing me up, being on-call 
in a ~3 week rotation, helping cover the bases during vacation times, 
helping out with general systems issues, on-site hardware work in the 
ViaWest colocation facilty, and of course, being really heavy in their 
mysql knowledge.

We are moving a custom application from using UNIFY to using mysql in a 
clustered environment,  using perhaps InnoDB or even clustered 
bladeservers with mysql working from RAM  (NDB?).

Initially, work will be part/half time, perhaps even  as a contractor.  

Good skills to have:

1.  apache, mod_perl, mod_ssl
2.  TinyDNS
3.  Qmail
4.  Perl debugging skills
5.  Mysql (duh)
6.  iptables/networking
7. Heavy on the Linux (we run almost 100% linux)
8.  Hardware skills (replacing drives, cards, motherboards, pulling 
systems, etc)
