[CLUE-Tech] Linux TCP sockets SYN -> long delay waiting for tcp_syn_retries

I'm a little confused.  Are you making the telnet connection in your own
C/C++ code?  If so I can offer up some sample C code for timing 
connections out quickly and gracefully.

If your only able to work with the /proc/sys/net configuration, then I'm
not able to offer any immediate solutions.

If you want the code sample please Email me directly, as sometimes I
don't have time to stay current on the list.
