[CLUE-Tech] ssh port forwarding

I used the -vvv and found a clue - it seems that the remote machine was
not able to resolve it's own hostname.  I added vch1p050.xxx.com to
/etc/hosts, and my problems went away.

Thanks to everyone, ( well, the 2 of you anyway),  for the suggestions.
