[CLUE-Tech] PPTP DNS Problems

Maybe I'm not understanding the output correctly, but you have eth1 as
your default gateway, not ppp0.
Do you by chance have another DNS server hanging off eth1 someplace?
My suggestion is to fire up (t)ethereal or tcpdump and listen to both
interfaces when you do a traceroute, and see where the DNS answers are
coming from.
You may be getting DNS replies off of eth1 and not ppp0. Even if you
specify a DNS server, sometimes hosts broadcast a DNS request (and hope a
DNS server listens and responds) instead of going directly to a specific
DNS server.
