Wow!  I'm reading your article and already making changes to my servers 
(yes, all of them) to make better use of SELinux.  I forgot that I had 
enabled SELinux at install and failed to look into just what it is.  I'm 
sure I'll have this FIFO working again soon enough.  Thank you!
