I have built an AMD64 3000+ system and now trying to install FC3_64. I have a western digital 160GB hard drive, and 512Mb of memory. When I try the install I get the following output:

I tried to go back and just install the 32bit version of FC3. I have done this on my laptop with no problems. I get the same results. I have loaded up Knoppix from CD and that works just fine. I'm at a loss here on what to try. At one time I did get it to load finally by adding the argument "linux acpi=off" and the installation seemed to work. Once I rebooted I was back to the same error again. Does anyone have any idea what to try?

Michael
