"safety" of gmail (was: Re: [clue-tech] Archives)

Oh and also...I'm sure there's more to the gmail teams reply then just
"Sorry, gmail is still in Beta!  See ya!"...that doesn't sound professional
to me at all and I highly doubt any support rep at google would give someone
such a reply
