If the network's an internal and secured one, this kinda screams for
automount -- but you said "Windows" mounts, so hmm...
(google...google... ahhh...)
The Gentoo folks seem to have some notes on mixing automount and Samba
that look relatively "sane"... or as sane as automounting to Windows
ever can be!
