Yeah, translucent windows that stretch and rebound as if they were made of
gelatin will really convince people to switch to Linux. Joe Barr says,
"After playing with Xgl, I feel comfortable predicting that this is the
year the Linux desktop arrives:". The Linux desktop, when it comes to
things such as window management and behavior, has completely usable for
quite a while. Adding yet another animation effect isn't going to cause
people to abandon Windoze in droves, much less the Mac.
