Just to confirm the behavior, if you would reply to the mails I sent
with the 'please ignore' addendum.

I believe what I described is true until a reply other than my own
arrives for the thread. Until such time, the post appears only in sent
items and under any filtered label. Once somebody else has replied,
the thread shows up in Inbox as well.
