You folks who were at Joey's fine presentation on Tuesday got to see
the quick start up and shutdown feature of Edgy.

It didn't last long. The developers have broken it again. Now start up
produces a lot of errors, and shutdown hangs totally. Such are the
trials and tribulations of an alpha release. You also get free gratis
an experimental version of Firefox (Bon Echo).
