[clue-tech] Vmware on Ubuntu

Is anyone running this on Edgy? I followed the directions in
ubuntuguide.org, but I'm not having any luck starting vmware. When I run it
from the menu, it just dies. When running from the command line, it doesn't
seem to do anything.

I posted in the related forum thread (linked from ubuntuguide.org) but so
far, no suggestions. I don't even know where to look for any debugging info.
Nothing under /var/log looks relevant.
