Well, something like Bugzilla didn't come to my mind at all, since it's
more complex than you need -- as you said. I initially thought of
something more along the lines of task management, workflow, etc.

Going to google.com/linux and searching for "task management", I came
across this page of "to do list" warez. Might be one of them works for
you.
