Seems you may have already found a solution.  If not, another
potential alternative is to run another instance of 'sshd' on a
separate port.  That sshd would listen for just the backup server and
can be configured anyway you'd like.

As I understand it, you should just be able to create a new
sshd_config file (ie: sshd_config_2222) and execute the sshd via:

/usr/sbin/sshd -f ...sshd_config_2222 (or something like that)
