[clue-tech] Firefox hijacked

I am signing off from this discussion, because the problem is clearly restricted to Microsoft Windows.  It has nothing to do with Firefox or any other Free software.  If you have any further interest, like you want a copy of the broken machine to work on or whatever, contact me directly, not on this list.  Again, I'm sorry for the distraction.

David,
AV2009 is definately a virus/spyware infection.

Another possibility that I haven't seen yet is to procure an external
hard drive enclosure, remove the user's hard drive and insert in said
enclosure, then bring the USB hard drive to another "clean" system to
work on removing the viruses!
