So you've just answered your own question -- or at least shut down the  
entire conversation.  We can't determine "acceptable risk for you and  
your organization".

The other technical comments (higher CPU load for SSH) are valid.   
Other than that, it's up to you.  ;-)

(Reality is, you'll probably end up supporting both, and using each in  
places where they make sense.  That's why they're both options in the  
program, after all...)
