Hey guys, I am not on the Clue-tech list but here is an update:
Unfortunately Dan will be driving back home immediately after the
meeting so will not be able to hang out for the traditional Marriott
sociallizing. That said I sent the note below to the denver office and
had several people from Oracle say they would be interested in
starting to come to CLUE meetings.
And yes, since Oracle has sent a developer to present - I can expense
pizza tonight, we will order in ;D

Due to the interest and response we've had on Oracle VM & Dan's coming
to town...

1. Dan will be presenting to the CLUE linux user group on Virtualization:

7-9pm, Tuesday night
Bldg3, 1st floor, East & Center Conference Rooms, Oracle DTC offices.

Why is virtualization such a hot commodity?
What use case scenarios make the most sense?
What are some of the current approaches to implementing virtualization on Linux,
and where are they headed?

2. Oracle Technology Network (OTN) will pay for pizza Tuesday night.

3. Some of you asked about joining CLUE linux user group - it's free,
all you have to do is show up
note: meeting content might vary, the 13 May content happens to be
relevant to Oracle
next meeting dates: 7-9pm, 2nd Tuesday of every month.

4. prescribed reading for the sales force:

If you actually want to understand 'Why Linux is strategic to Oracle',
Or 'How open standards help in competing with Microsoft'.
And yes Ed reports to Larry :)

5. To my knowledge, Oracle VM is still the only virtualization environment that
you can get support for the Oracle Products on.
