[clue-tech] Ubuntu lock-up problems

Open Office has a feature that makes it log on to the network occasionally. The purpose is to bring up a web page that solicits donations. Apparently that's necessary to keep the program going. I just exit from the browser immediately -- delays things for a couple of seconds, no harm done.
