My upgrade hammered.  Not sure exactly where it happened, but my screen went dim and unresponsive.  When I rebooted, I go to a "waiting for partitions" screen.  The UUIDs are the same, findable and mountable.  I've done backups from hard drive(s) to a USB drive under a CD boot.  If I go to the recovery prompt, mount -a works fine, I can even "init 3", but then I start getting a constant stream of errors about "savapi" whatever that is.  Why the boot process hangs up at "mountall", when everything seems to be functional, I don't know.

I'll be doing a clean build from CD, and restoring the USB disk backup.
