[clue-tech] DVD burning

I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 right now, but the same thing was happening with 9.04, I think.  I believe GNOME is invoking Brasero.  BUT, I'll use anything! I don't care whether it's GUI or TUI, as long as it gets me the desired information, which is:

 - What media types does my drive support?

 - What are the capabilities/capacities of the currently-inserted media?
