I used Ubuntu on my EEE for a little while in 2008. I didn't have any problems with it.

Subject: [clue-tech] Nettops and Netbooks

Has anyone tried running any flavor of Ubuntu on a Nettop?

Nettops have the same hardware as Netbooks, but without the built-in
screen and keyboard.

They're selling these at Best Buy for 200$, and the idea of a
low-power linux server that has no fans and can output 1080p is very
very tempting. And I also love how little space it takes up.

I was thinking of putting it on the network and having it run apache,
mysql, and be a general testbed/sandbox. But I've never used an ATOM processor
before and I don't know what the limitations/pitfalls for it are.
