I see some info on making an audio background for an impress presentation (how to make one file play 
through vs. a different file for each slide, etc).  There are some (mostly old) pages that say in 
order for impress to play sound you need JMF (maybe past EOL and not packaged for Debian).

Do I really need JMF?  Adding a sound doesn't seem to work (for the built-in sounds) but JMF seems 
needlessly complex to use.
