I totally agree with with you I wasted two full days of my life just getting

the permissions to stick on my "home" in Mandrake 8.2<br>

As it turned out Red Hat 7.3 doesn't have the permissions problem issue,

but it has so many other issues that Mandrake 8.2 is probably the better

choice for most people.<br>
