Ultimately, I'd say, set one up, do everything you can to secure it, see how comfortable you are with the time investment, and how much you enjoy the caretaking. I'm guessing that, to stay on top of spam for a relatively busy domain, it is a not-insignificant amount of work. There have to be some people out there who genuinely enjoy running email services - and god bless em, because I sure don't have the patience anymore.<br>
