[clue] mint12 stuck at login screen

Ironically, after the reload it's arbitrarily shut down in the 3 times
in the last 3 hours.  Hurmph.   Think it's time to go back to 11 for
now.  Maybe think about distro hopping.  Pity, I liked the MSGE
concept.
