[clue] dec29th = leave GoDaddy [politics/SOPA]

Considering GoDaddy's Superbowl commercials alone is enough to want to get rid of them. Their service is useless, just an ocassion to explain why the customer needs to buy something else. The stats get messed up periodically.

However, they only charge me $3.99/month, which is deducted monthly (all so easy), and a simple static site never has problems or goes down. If I decide to change, I have a job to do.... so it's not so simple to contemplate.

Christopher and company:

Linux ETC is an affiliate of NameCheap.com which we moved to for similar reasons from our prior registrars.  If anyone would like to use our affiliate code and migrate on over which is quite simple to do, just go to

http://www.namecheap.com?aff=22008

and take it from there.  Thanks in advance if you do use the code as well. ;-)

Also if anyone needs some web + email hosting, Linux ETC does provide that as well.  Details can be found on our e-store site at

https://store.linux-etc.com
