If I don't know what is going on, I cannot know whether I can provide something to smooth the situations over. I have stood in the middle of two drunk guys ready to fight and told them a joke. Worked for me. This recent brouhaha is a good example. Various people insist " that if we only knew all the facts " that their position would be vindicated. Since all sorts of "secret" facts are not being revealed , I have no idea of how I might be involved or what I can do to smooth things over. I am excited about Linux, FLOSS and POSH and I have energy to make it happen. By the way.... anything "I" make public or put on the website or mailing list is owned by the world as far as I am concerned.
