Umm, gentoo is faster, speically when highly optimized for slower arch CPUs
and high end servers? Want to me to do a benchmark?

There's another gentoo user on this list?  Sweet.  I thought I knew 
everyone that uses gentoo. (There are only 10 of us.)  You must be #11.
