[clue] clue Digest, Vol 5, Issue 14

While I was also tempted to unsubscribe, I went in and set this for a
daily digest--yet am still receiving the individual emails. Hopefully
that also can be resolved. I don't need an inbox with 20 or more petty
or silly emails like we had flying around today. Life is too short.....

Not surprising. Most of the core parts of a Linux system are GNU, but many or most new projects don't bother making themselves part of GNU.

Linux ETC has the following for sale that is from a client:

- HP LaserJet 5000N (P/N: C4111A)

Specifics from HP's web site can be found at
http://h200003.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=bpl04577&locale=en_US&taskId=101&prodSeriesId=25473&prodTypeId=18972

Includes a third paper tray (manual feed + tray included) that looks like it can hold a full ream of paper (500 pages) up to 11" x 17". Works well, toner seems good in it as well.

Asking $300 OBO. Prices do not include sales tax and shipping cost (local pickup an option by appointment).

Questions or comments, feel free to contact me directly. Thanks in advance.

Have we changed the unsubscribe procedure lately or something? I don't
remember it being all that difficult.

I think some people have their email client configured to automatically strip off the auto-added self-service link at the bottom. For those people, the ones that have their threshold of tolerance set lower than our s/n, here's the link again:

Very sorry to see you go. We'll miss your contributions.

My rotary organization is about to do it's annual Peach Sale to raise
funds for our charity works. I am looking to find an online store
that doesn't charge a ton or have big set up fees since it is only a
once a year event. I was looking at Goodsie but had some weird
behavior out of them. Anyone have any suggestions for a site where
people can order and pay for peaches (to be picked up in Westminster)?

I was going to suggest Craig's List, but he did say "order and pay for". What about eBay?

Don't throw rocks! There is no sense building, or even renting, a missile, when a shotgun will do the trick.
