Cooling is an issue, and it'd be good if we could get away with using only the passive heatsink like what's on there now.

Can anyone thing of any way we could keep using this board for a little while longer (until the R&D is done on the new system architecture) but with a faster CPU?

Does this ring a bell with anyone? Can you suggest any way we could get the board to be faster? We tried & won't be able to desolder the 486 chip to replace it with a faster chip. If only it was a socket!
