Apply for my old job at PARSEC if you haven't already.

Make a list of 7 people that have careers you find professionally fascinating.
Cultivate productive relationships with those people.

Be creative and aggressive in your hunting. Understand that people really do want to help you; don't get in their way. Never reject a lead that comes from a person. Follow through and follow up; let that person know that their tip or lead was valuable to you.

Also exploiting your network (eg clue) is a good place to start.
Friends, neighbors, users groups.   BTW what do you know about
Windows?  I'm in a mixed environment Mix of vmware, san, windows,
linux etc and we may be looking.
