I've developed some peculiar symptoms, I'm hoping the collective may have
suggestions to help resolve
I don't seem to be able to connect to my wireless, it simply prompts over
and over for my credentials
dmesg seems clean, but syslog has some peculiar messages:
Jan 26 20:21:20 fozzie kernel: [ 946.546994] wl0: wlc_recv: dropping a
frame with invalid src mac address, a2: 00:00:00:00:00:00
my symptoms are completely consistent with:
http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1704122.html
but I don't have the same build laptop - it's a dell - and I'm not sure I
understand the forum thread well enough to figure out how he somehow
managed to figure out which module was causing the fault
my distro is:
DISTRIB_ID=LinuxMint
DISTRIB_RELEASE=11
DISTRIB_CODENAME=katya
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Linux Mint 11 Katya"
my network is:
bean at fozzie /var/log $ sudo lshw -C network

Any advice is appreciated
Bean
