What? This statement doesn't make any sense to me at all. In fact Dan was right, I was using Photoshop and Maya as example of raster and vector based software. You had asked about free software and the difference between raster vs vector images. I chose not to answer the FOSS side of things as I really don't have much experience with FOSS image software ( like many here I have used gimp, but not enough to comment in any useful way ). If your goal is simply to troll, then please just leave.
