[clue] Minimum CPU for CentOS

I have a Dell PowerEdge 1550 Pentium III server and I wanted to make sure it work work on that. I am just using it for learning.
I also have a Dell 700 I think it is Pentium 4 I was looking at setting up as a DHCP server.

I am pretty sure you need at least a pentium to run any of these with.  I don't actually thing i386 means 386 support as the kernel requires some specific Pentium features.  What are your goals for the server?  I have seen ubuntu running on low power ARM devices.
