Like Hostgator, ACENET has hourly (600)/daily(14,400) domain e-mail limits on their shared (cheaper) hosts. If the action is fast and furious, there can/will. This is why you’d need to consider a VPS solution.

Sorry, I should have said CLUE server. We use it to run the mailing list. Our web site is free
(and also low usage). We could probably find free ways to host it other places too.
