[clue] cquestion books (git/puppet?) (Mike Bean)

So, I use git and jenkins and chef every day.

git - http://git-scm.com/book/en/v2
jenkins - There are no really good docs or books on jenkins that I've
found, aside from what is at the official site.
chef - http://docs.chef.io/ I list this even though they are the official
docs simply because they can be hard to stumble upon from the main site,
unless they've re-orged the site in the new domain.

Those, and hanging out in relevant IRC channels are the best ways to "book
learn" these topics that I've found. That said, nothing educates better
than actually using them, so I'd come up with a reason to work with them,
even a contrived one, and start seeing what you see.

Oh, and I'd like to add Rundeck to the list of useful automation tools:
http://rundeck.org/

There's a significant overlap between what rundeck does and what jenkins
does, but they are each better at certain things that the other does
poorly, so I keep using both despite this nagging feeling that I really
should get rid of one or the other.
